New Smyrna Beach Silent Disco Rental

3 Channels LED Headphones 100m Range Local Delivery

The Experience

Easy To Run, Great For Every Age, Quiet Outside

A silent disco sends the music to wireless headphones instead of speakers. Everyone gets the full mix at their own volume, and the LED ring on each ear cup lights up in the colour of their channel. On a barrier island where the nearest house is usually a few steps away, that changes what is possible outdoors after dark.

Easy To Manage

We deliver, set up, run the room and take it all away. Headphones go out, headphones come back, and none of it lands on your run sheet.

Great For All Ages

Three channels means the kids, the parents and the grandparents each get their own music. Nobody sits the night out because of the playlist.

No Noise Complaints

The sound lives in the headphones. No speaker pointed at a neighbour, no bass carrying over the dunes, no awkward call to the venue the next morning.

Selfies All Night Long

Glowing ear cups against a dark beach or a dark ballroom are made for a camera. Your guests document the whole night for you — and tag the venue while they do it.

For Event Planners

We Make Life Easy So You Can Focus On Your Guests

Turnkey and plug-and-play. We bring the party to you, set it up, run it and take it away. Whether you are an HR lead, a school administrator, a church coordinator, a nonprofit director or a host planning a private party, you do not project-manage a sound system on top of everything else you are already carrying.

Plug And Play

A turnkey setup that drops into whatever event you have already planned. No redesign, no rewiring, no new floor plan.

We Bring The Party

Everything arrives with us, ready to run. Your venue does not need to supply a thing, which matters at a park pavilion or an open lawn.

Local Delivery Teams

Real people from Central Florida, not a shipping company. No tracking numbers, no box that turns up a day after your event.

One Less Vendor To Chase

We handle delivery, setup, the room and pickup, so the headphones never become another thing to manage.

Local Context

Why It Works So Well In New Smyrna Beach

New Smyrna Beach is one of the few places in Central Florida where the sound question is written down in advance — and the written answers are all about amplification.

The Sand Is County Ground, With A Sound Rule On It

The beach here is managed by Volusia County, not the city, and the County’s own special event permit application is blunt about it: “All sound-making devices or instruments must not amplify more than 50 feet from the device/instrument.” A PA system pointed down a beach cannot honour that. Fifty pairs of headphones do it without anyone having to measure anything.

Fifty Guests Is The Line On The Beach

County Beach Safety requires a special event permit for anything organised to attract more than 50 people to a stretch of beach at a given time, with insurance and a site map; at 50 or fewer you still have to notify them. The paperwork is manageable. The part that trips people up is the equipment list — and a transmitter the size of a lunchbox is a much easier conversation than a speaker stack and a generator.

In City Parks, Amplified Music Is A Permit, Not A Given

The City’s park rental rules say it plainly: amplified music is allowed by permit only, and music during a rental has to stay at a level that does not disturb other park patrons or park neighbours. That applies at the Riverside, Pettis and Rocco pavilions alike. Headphones sidestep the whole clause — there is nothing to amplify.

Two Districts, Two Sets Of Neighbours

Beachside, Flagler Avenue packs shops, restaurants and the Coronado Civic Center into a few walkable blocks inside the Coronado historic district, with homes immediately behind. On the mainland, the Canal Street Historic District does the same around the Hub on Canal and the Chamber of Commerce at 115 Canal St. Both are lovely. Neither has a spare hundred feet of buffer.

Everything Good Here Is Outdoors

Smyrna Dunes Park, Mary McLeod Bethune Beach Park, Canaveral National Seashore, the Old Stone Wharf on South Riverside Drive, the 22-acre Marine Discovery Center campus on the Indian River Lagoon. The venues people actually want are open to the water, the wind and the wildlife — the three things amplified sound handles worst.

Indoor To Outdoor In One Evening

The standard New Smyrna Beach run of show moves: drinks on a terrace over the river, dinner in a ballroom, dancing back outside. That is three spaces and three coverage problems for a speaker system, and one transmitter for us. Same music, same volume, no gear moved halfway through the night.

Two Ways To Run It

DIY Drop-Off Or Fully Managed

Some events want the gear and their own playlist. Others want to hand the whole night over and not think about it again. Both are on the table, and every event up the coast in Daytona Beach gets the same two options.

DIY Drop-Off

We deliver, show you the gear and collect it after. You run the music.

  • Headphones and transmitter delivered locally
  • Walkthrough so your team is confident
  • Plug in your own source or playlist
  • We come back and collect — no shipping

Custom Setups

A Local Partner, Not A Rental Warehouse

Because we are here in Central Florida rather than shipping you a crate, we can build the night out as far as you want to take it — and we can do it on a terrace, in a gym or on the sand.

The Hardware

Best-In-Class Headphones Your Guests Forget They Are Wearing

The headphones are the event. If they slip, pinch or sound thin, the whole night feels cheap — so ours do not. They also have to survive salt air, sand and a crowd that is dancing barefoot.

A Snug Fit That Stays On

They hold through dancing, jumping and photos. Nobody spends the night adjusting a headset, even in an ocean breeze.

Premium Leather Comfort

Soft ear cushions built for hours, not minutes. Comfortable from the first song to the last.

LED Glow By Channel

The ear cups light up in their channel’s colour, so the whole floor reads at a glance — and a dark beach turns into three moving colours.

100m Wireless Range

Plenty to cover a ballroom, a river terrace and a stretch of lawn from one transmitter without a drop.

Rooms, Terraces & Sand

Where It Works In New Smyrna Beach

Every figure below comes from the venue’s own published information or the City’s own rental documents. Where a venue publishes conflicting numbers, we have left the number out.

The Brannon Center

105 S. RIVERSIDE DR

The biggest room in town and the clearest case for headphones anywhere in the city. The Indian River Ballroom is a 6,500 sq ft space with floor-to-ceiling windows onto the Intracoastal Waterway, and it can be partitioned down or combined with two adjacent multi-use rooms. Then there is the 7,500 sq ft terrace on the east side, facing the water, which the venue publishes for outdoor concerts and live performances. Glass on one side, open river on the other: a speaker stack in that ballroom either underserves the terrace or overserves the neighbourhood, and once the doors open it does both at once.

Coronado Civic Center

223 FLAGLER AVE

The beachside option, and the one with the shortest walk to the sand. The City publishes what comes with it rather than a headcount: 135 chairs, 27 eight-foot rectangular tables and five sixty-inch rounds, Wi-Fi throughout and a TV in the meeting room, with outside food and caterers welcome. Its address tells you the constraint — this is the middle of Flagler Avenue, with businesses on both sides and homes a block behind, which is precisely the block where a sound system becomes somebody else’s problem.

Marine Discovery Center

520 BARRACUDA BLVD

A 22-acre campus on the Indian River Lagoon with a five-acre restored salt marsh, which is a beautiful setting and an unforgiving one for loudspeakers. The Hunter Amphitheater sits beside the marsh with electricity available for outside audio and visual equipment, and the covered outdoor pavilion takes up to 100 guests around nine picnic tables. Headphones let a crowd of a hundred dance in the middle of a nature preserve without a single decision about how far the sound carries over open water.

Alonzo “Babe” James Community Center

201 N. MYRTLE AVE

The City’s community hub on the mainland, with a large multipurpose room for rent alongside indoor courts for pickleball and basketball, plus a refurbished playground and a splash pad outside. It is the natural home for a youth night, a school function, a church event or a neighbourhood party — and a gymnasium is the one room where speakers sound worst and headphones sound best, because a hard-floor box with a high ceiling turns amplified music into echo.

And Everywhere Smaller

LIVE OAK ST · CANAL ST · MAGNOLIA ST · ART CENTER AVE

The Live Oak Cultural Center at 1050 Live Oak St and the Jessie Stevenson Kovalenko Memorial Gymnasium next door at 1000 Live Oak St both rent through City Leisure Services, as does the Woman’s Club at 403 Magnolia St, a designated local landmark. Atlantic Center for the Arts on Art Center Avenue is fully ADA compliant and rents work and meeting spaces. The Hub on Canal at 132 Canal Street is home to around 65 local and regional artists. Add the Riverside, Pettis and Rocco park pavilions and a few hundred private homes on the river and the ocean, and the logic never changes: the more a space opens onto its neighbours, the more the headphones earn their place.

One Specific Case

Weddings In New Smyrna Beach

This is the market where the County’s amplification rule and the indoor-outdoor habit collide hardest, so it deserves its own answer.

A Ceremony On The Sand, Legally Audible

The 50-foot amplification limit in the County’s beach permit paperwork is the reason so many beach ceremonies here end up either inaudible past the third row or quietly out of compliance. Headphones put vows, readings and the first dance straight into every guest’s ears at the volume they choose, whatever the surf is doing, and they do it inside the rule rather than around it.

The Brannon Terrace, Then The Ballroom

The Brannon Center publishes its 7,500 sq ft river terrace for ceremonies and performances and its 6,500 sq ft Indian River Ballroom for the seated part of the evening. Two very different acoustic spaces, one guest list, one transmitter. Nothing gets re-patched between the terrace and the room, and the music does not stop while it happens.

Dancing Past The Neighbours’ Bedtime

New Smyrna Beach is a small barrier-island town where a great many venues have residents as immediate neighbours. A silent reception is the one format where nobody has to choose between ending early and being the wedding the street remembers. If you are weighing dates further down the coast, Cocoa Beach has the same arithmetic.
